A writer and painter, Karyn has been painting and working in the fine arts industry for over twenty-five years. After completing her MFA in scenic art, and working nationally on the regional theatre circuit, she taught design and drawing for college students, keeping a hand in the decorative arts and her own drawings.

Karyn moved into online writing, education and video production for both American Artist and The Artist Magazine, publishing several of her own articles before working in research and development for some of the top art material manufacturers in the world.

Since completing her second Masters in Art Education, Karyn has taught in public and private schools, but transitioned to pursue writing and personalized mentoring, reaching young women in the arts.
